I was dialing in my Flatline out in the back yard, placed the marker on the Porch Railing to get some more paint and BAM! My gun fell onto the concrete below. It wasn't a long drop (5') but it looks like the muzzle break is bent down a bit now. Is there a way to remove the Muzzle Break without resorting to a Big Hammer? I'll try and get some pics posted later today. |

the muzzel break doesn't effect the flatline at all. If you look at it the inside is even bigger then the diamater of the rest of the barrel. you can just cut it off it will make you gun slightly louder but will also make it shorter

The only way to remove the muzzle is to cut it off? (Can I get a 2nd opinion) The muzzle is bent enough that my shots are directed down. ![]() |

Call Tippmann and ask if they will replace it.

Well, contrary to some other posts the muzzle break does have some affect on accuracy. And since you point out in another post that the paint balls are being deflected downward, it will have to be fixed. I have read that the muzzle break has come off some barrels. It needs to be there in the normal course to protect the tip and prevent damage that could nick or break a ball as it exits the end of the barrel. I would send it back to Tippmann. It is likely they can make a repair or replace it for a nominal cost. I can think of no better solution. |

Thanks for the responses everyone. I managed to get the muzzle break off by hand. (No need to cut it off!!!!!) Played some games yesturday and it worked excellent. Good point about having a muzzle break on to protect the end of the barrel. I'll have to tape it back on.
