I love my model 98 and I wanted to ask you all how I could get more accuracy from my marker. I have the stock barrel and I know I need to get a new one I was thinking about the ported tippmann sniper but I don't know? I use Worrpaint so I know it isn't my paint...

I don't think that that barrel is very good. I suggest a J&J Ceramic. I have one and it is very accurate and quiet. Buying an expansion or regulator would also probably help accuracy because they prevent velocity spikes and liquid co2 from entering your gun.

Tippmann sniper barrel is just a longer stock barrel, dont buy it.

You best bet is either the ceramic as mentined above or a Lapco. The Lapco Bigshot is loud but a very good barrel. If you are willing to spend a lot more, you might want to consider a Dye Boomstick. Those barrels are very good and very solid.

As for accuracy, bear in mind this is a paintball gun. The most accuracy you can hope for is hitting something 50 feet away or so. The expansion chamber as mentioned above is a good investment, a palmers stab, which is a regulator for co2, is ideal. A guy on here who hasnt been around much has a palmers stab usuing co2 on his 98c (I think) and he has an LP kit.

Bear in mind you can only take your gun to a certain level, hence why sniping never works in paintball (you just cant make your gun accurate enough nor shoot far enough). Its all up to you to develop the skills to play.
