This video is the best info out there. The Palmer shown is not old or obsolete. That is exactly the way all of them come apart. Been there, done that, wish I had seen the video before I disassembled mine.

Thanks a lot guys. I took the stab apart and found out wich parts were broken. The endcap is stripped near the end and in turn makes the screw go in crooked and hit the washer. So the washer is bent. So i need a new end cap and washer. Any suggestions on where to get them?

Palmer Pursuit Custom Shop. On line, on their web site they have the kits for either HP or LP overhaul. About $27. I just bought a kit last week. The kit contains all the parts that you have found damaged.

OR

Send it to Palmer! It may be covered by warranty as Palmer stands behind their product very, very well.
