It depends. If you are using regular co2, your gun is going to freeze up at high rates of fire.

not always

you can get a regulator or x-chamber or even a anti syphin tube which will help prevent liquid co2 getting in your gun therefor freezing up.

but it will freeze up eventualy

I can fire on semi auto all day long with no chops. But when I turn it on full auto cranked up all the way or auto responce I chop paint. Usually the first couple of shots. I sent my gun to tippmann already and they sent it back to me and didn't say anything about it.

I use the regular tippmann hopper. The paint I used was chronic paint so the paint got chopped and never actually broke in the gun. Well the last game it did. So it chopped like 4 paintballs that day only one broke in the gun and I shot a little over 2000 round that day. My guess is that trigger is going too fast so the latch never actually catches the bolt cuasing the bolt to fly foward prematurly. Right now I have the gun turned down so it is firing about 5-6 shots a second and it's working okay no problems as of now but if I turn the speed up I know it's going to chop. I just wish I could use the gun to it's full potential.

A gravity fed hopper will not cut it.
Even a stirred hopper like a Reloader or Revy will not cut it.
If you want to go all out with your E-Grip you must get a real hopper, Force fed.

Cyclone
Halo
Reloader B
Egg
United States Marine Corps....   When it absolutely, positively, has to be destroyed overnight!

Just say NO to junk mods

If your having toruble with an a-5 e-grip, then you need to lubriucate your cyclone.

get a cyclone feed then you wont have to worry about batteries, electric hoppers, all you will need to worry about is the extra air which is used by the cyclone

but it's only a little bit

A5
12"Bigshot
Pure energy 20ozCo2x2/AntiSyphon
32 degrees Black X_chamber
Pen spring mod

^^^ runs on exhaust... does not use extra air... otherwise I agree.  Planning on modifying my kids 98 soon.
