i posted on here a couple month ago that my A-5 kept needing to be recocked after every shot, every post told me that my air wasnt filled *even though the guy filled it 2 minutes before*, or that my C02 finally hit the dirt.. well they were all wrong..
the problem, weird enough, was my M-4 Stock.. i dont know why but when i switched it out to the original A-5 stock it works.. its the weirdest thing ever. i dont know why this happened, but thats wat the problem was |

Common problem with stocks, as is mentioned in the Maintenance FAQ sticky in this forum... Your stock wasn't putting enough pressure on the drive spring. |

To expand on what Clark said above, compare the stock to the standard
A5 end cap. You will probably note that the hole the drive spring
and pin set in is deeper on the M4 stock.
