hey since the paintball season is winding down i might not get my new gun till next year but i wanna start looking.  So here are my choices:

04 vert cocker

bko

b2k (can someone tell me if it is really worth the extra money over a bko?)

a-5 w/ an egrip and double trigger

something else - thanks

Dude the 04 vert is an amazing gun for the price. It's accurate even with the stock barrel, it comes with a bottom line, and there are so many upgrades for it its unbelievable.

Haha funny, mech isn't better then electro. The b2k4 would be a better decision, unless you were planning on getting e-blade for the 04 vert and a lot of other ups. I would get it with pds though, to prevent from chopping.

Yes to answer you question the b2k4 is better then the bko. The BKO's use a 2-way solenoid while the Bushmasters/Defiants use a 4-way solenoid. The 4-way solenoid uses air to move the bolt forward and backwards, while the 2-way uses a spring to return the bolt the the cocker position. The 2-way solenoid does allow for better efficiency of the gun, but cannot sustain heavy ROF's (rate of fire). The 2-way soleniod is said to be capable of no more than 17bps.

Either Keep your A5, or buy a Pretty Stock Impule and build yourself one.

Voodoo Bolt.
Magnetic Blade Trigger.
WAS Board.
New Cradle.
New Hammer.
Low Rise Feedneck (The stock feedneck looks like a Smoke Stack)
Probably a new Barrel.

After that you'd have one Hell of a Impulse. That or you can Save your money just a bit longer and buy a Rat Jr. (Non-Vision) for 525$ and Add a WAS Board later

yea I'd go for and Impy if you are looking for a good gun for your moneys worth but not to get out of topic go for B2k or do what ever you think is right for you...

Go with the B2K4. Its way better then any stock mechanical Cocker and iots more reliable and better quality then the Impy.
(I'm a nob with no clue about almost anything...)
