So, I've wanted an X-Mag forever. I just happened to find one for the right price at the right time. Unfortunately, I can't use it until I get back to the states in May, but I am still totally excited to add this to my arsenal. Also came with a warp, but I need to hunt down a mounting bracket and screws

Anyway, just thought I would share.

Not being too familiar with the Warp feed system I went to this link (pdf)

http://www.airgundesignsusa.com/downloads/warpexploded1.pdf

The mounting plate looks like it would be easy to make.  Aluminum would be a logical choice for material but I made an off-set for the ASA on my low pressure Spyder project out of a Corian sample from Home depot.

I considered making one, however my abilities as a craftsman are non-existent. I suppose I could try it...

Its a Mini you moran.

Of all the guns I've ever owned (Angels, Autocockers, Egos, BL's, CCM's, much more...), my current 'Mag is my favorite.  Its just a lowly Classic with stainless body, but its simplicity, reliability, and performance for such a low price is great.  I love everything about it.  It seriously just feels like it drives nails.  I like how it feels, I like how it shoots, I like how I can let it sit and just put a little oil in it and go play.  Even better is the fact that the first thing I did when I got it is take it apart to every individual piece, put it back together with a rebuild kit, and it shot PERFECTLY on the first attempt.  One of the easiest and most rewarding markers I've worked on / owned.

And yours is even better I'm sure :).  Its certainly very good looking... jealous.

You aim by using reference points on your gun to line up the shots. It's most commonly done by looking down the barrel. With experience, it becomes natural.

Another way to do it is to fire multiple shots and make adjustments to your aim as you watch where the paint hits.

Gunsights aren't as useful as they seem to be in paintball.

Baby, I'd never leave you.

Seriously though, nice mag. I've got a Hyperframed mag lying somewhere around. Not as nice as yours, but still Nicer than Yomillio's. :P

I'm also building a 'cocker.

VERY nice long live mags.  I still love my Classic mag but miss my old X-Valved mag.  Always wanted to get an e-mag myself.  That X-Mag always seemed unatainable.

Good to hear you're still tinkering around DeTrev. I still have my Dye Ultralite cocker as well, which I would like to get re-anodized at some point. I believe I recall asking you about how to time a cocker properly awhile back. Many thanks. My buddy has been reaping the benefits of my gear since I'm still in Japan though, so he's using my STDM5, 04 Viking, and the Ultralite. I do not plan on letting him use my X-Mag, as he almost sold my Dye Ultralite without telling me .

Yomillio, I definitely hear what you are saying. I've heard nothing but good things about mags, performance and maintenance-wise. One thing I've learned about mag owners is that they might not have the prettiest markers, but they hold their own against some of the higher end markers time and time again. Hopefully I can get the best of both worlds with this baby

Not to mention, a passion of mine is buying the markers I wanted but couldn't afford as a teenager. I remember seeing the X-Mag when it first came out in an APG magazine and thought, "One day...I will have you!" And there's nothing like whipping out an old classic and hearing the kids say, "What's that thing?" and the older guys say, "Dude, no way!"

Prices on X-Mags, actually all Mags, is going down quite a bit over the past couple of years. I think I was looking at this same one on AO at one point, but with moving costs etc right now my wife would have killed me. Nice grab. Did it come with the warp breach?

I need to post up the latest family pic. Definitely pretty mag heavy.
