Well hello all, been having problems with my response trigger for the Tippmann 98 Custom Platinum ACT since i got it, it kept firing (like your tank is out of air) no matter what i set the fine tune screw to whatever position, i had it send in to my local shop where i bought it, i received it back yesterday with them stating it was working correctly again...
Not really, it did fire normally this time, but it only seems to shoot 2 shots with one pull after 10 normal shots with the velocity screw completely screwed in the powertube and the fine tune screw of the response trigger screwed out to its max... I'm getting pretty desperate here and really getting fed up with this gun, been having issues with it since i got it, thought a Tippmann 98 ACT was so well known for it being a very sturdy marker, looks like i got a sissy version. ![]() |

Make sure your tank is getting filled right. Ive had issues with different shops and how they were filling my air tanks. Also, the velocity screw in your power tube should not be fronted all the way. Neither should the fine tuning screw be out all the way. Make sure all your fittings are tight that your not leaking air anywhere.
