So, the day after my Outkast Sniper II arrived, I got another nice little (okay, it was kinda big) package in. What was inside?

:)

A nice comparison:

Anyone want to take a guess as to why this number is significant?

The guts:

Back block mojo ain't got a thing on this. It's a solid hunk of aluminum:

My thoughts on it? It's gonna be fun to use this thing! Not to crazy about the pump stroke, and I can fix that. Just requires me to do some drilling, so I'm hesitant. The bolt is really nice for what it is, and will be nicer when I polish it. I'd like to replace the old WGP hinge with a slider, as I LOVE the feel of a nice slider, and the barrel is an old J&J stainless barrel I had. The pump kit on it now is Hooptie, but I've got the original WGP kit as well.

As I said, it's gonna be a blast using her!

The serial number is your birthday--04/01/1990.

Have fun with it. Nice to see a classic floating around here.

Not my birthday, but maybe the markers!

The SN puts it at 1990. This sucker is OLD!

(As an aside, my B-Day is 12/09/88)

Hey, coming into the world in 1990 does not make you old.
