This has taken me much longer than expected. I finally am finished. She doesn't look very pretty, but I'll fix most of that later with a new coat of paint. Maybe I'll have it powdercoated someday...

It was a battle to install the membrane switch.

Nice, jb weld up some of the uneven spots around membrane and grip and it will look perfect

Looks good, but I agree that you need to get ahold of some lab metal/JB weld and even out some of the flaws, especially on the baackside of the grip.

You should get a vid up sometime.

A vid is definitely in the future. I just need paint, air, and time.

Nice! Looks like you took the DM4/5/C route which appears to be easier than the DMLCD route I went.

If you are truly considering getting it powdercoated, Lab Metal is the way to go. Several places that I contacted said they will not guarantee powdercoating for markers using JB Weld. Supposedly plastic based fillers gas out differently and don't always take.

Could definitely use some cleaning up, but overall, not bad.

the inside looks so clean and nice.. buuut then there's the outside. Ha just kidding, other than your inline setup it looks kinda ghetto, which is a good thing. I'm actually in favor of you keeping it like this, no reason to go and spend all this money making it look nice when you have a perfectly good sleeper on your hands! Big smile

Well, things turned out to not be so good. I went out to shoot it and I think my solenoid is defective so shooting a vid is out of the question for a long while.
