The saw stock if you want to use the sights. The collapsable does not let you use optics unless mounted on an offset mount of some sorts. If you are of the conventional 'sights dont matter group' the car stock might be more apropriate as it can be compacted for cqb, is lighter, and less unweildy. The SAW stock is nice as you can get a real stabel aim and pound oposition with aimed volley fire from a distance with the flatline. With the wire out you can snap the marker up into the same spot everytime, three round R/T burst, and moveout. Shoot and scoot. I suppose depending on the level of realism and what you are doing (like your playing style) will determine the type 'tightness with your gun' you may be looking for. For real close work the saw stock will slow you down, and at some point, im gonna pay for it when folks get in close and zap me cause Im slower bringing my marker to bear  Hope this helps.
