Hi!
I know that there's a lot of messages about modding the Alpha Black, but i couldnt find a definitve and simple answer about my question. So, i'm sorry if i'm being repetitive. I'm buying an Alpha Black, and the only thing that i want to add is a 30mm red dot scope, from TASCO. My questions are: 1. I don't need fancy rails, right? One of these 8 US$ rails should work? If not, which are the best options for the Alpha Black? ![]() 2. Now the most important. Will i be able to install the scope correctly, alined to the gun body, with full vision, without changing the original hopper, or do i need to by a cyclone or adapt some elbow hopper? If yes, which? I ask it because some guys said that yes, some said that the hopper press the scope, some said that the hopper stays on the way. No idea... Pictures or old threads of the answer would be also great. Thanks. |

uh oh. wrong forum. but i would first go and see if you really want a red dot. I think the rail would be a good milsim up, but before you go and buy a red-dot see if you can find one to look through and decide if you really still want one. use the search tool for the old posts. |

I got my cary handle mount for my Alpha black at: You have to drill a hole in the hadle to mount the rail. Not hard to install... 1/4in. drill bit will do. As for the hopper, I have a 98 cyclone with a low profile X7 Hopper and I have no problems with clearance with my TACTICAL RED DOT 4 RETICLE Hope this helps... |

You will have to install your red dot either on the side of the carrying handle or you will have to buy a cyclone for the 98c, do a little groove in it in order for it to fit the Alpha and your ready to rock and roll! |

I just put a 4x22 scope on my ABT and found shortly thereafter that my regular hopper does not fit with it on
![]() A red dot would not stick out so far that the hopper would not fit on as in my case and (if you're looking through it with both eyes open) you should probably not even see the hopper. |
