Hi Everyone, New guy here, so I figured I'd post a few pics, sorry for the crappy pics, they were taken with my camera phone.

2 Custom 98's both with R/T one with cyclone feed, both with Rufus wicked bolt and power tube, 330+ hopper (we actually counted how many fits in it, and it was 394 balls)

1 A-5 tippmann fixed stock air thru, foregrip, 4X32 scope (yes, it really works...I can hit a target clean at around 175 ft) R/T (doesnt work all too well, needs some adjusting or something) JCS power tube

Tons of barrels for the Custom 98's, which I also use with the A-5 since I have the Jasco adapter

16' JJ Ceramic, 14' tippmann werks, 16' tippmann werks, 16' empire twister, 16' empire, and various other ones

1 Spyder Xtra only CP barrel

2 VL Triads..stock (got them for when friends want to play)

You hit targets 175ft away with that scope?

It's wicked hard to believe, but if you can, major props to you.  Love the guns.

I know it was 150 +...we were messing around at a football field, and we set up some cones on the 50 yard line (thats where I figured it was 150 + ft) and started testing out the barrels, I was somewhere in the middle of the endzone, so it was more than 150...and I did it with the JJ ceramic barrel I hit 8 out of 10, I would guess the other 2 would be not so perfect balls that made it curve slightly left to not hit the target

Overall, out of all the barrels I have, I do believe that the JJ ceramic works best for my A5 as far as accuracy and consistency, 2nd place would have to go to the Empire Twister or the 16 ' Tippmann Werks barrel

Here'sa Video of someone sniping at 150 ft...so for all those that are weary about these guns at long range, here's proof

http://youtube.com/watch?v=snGpdLP0sRg

I'll try to get some good videos from my next game...I have one of those motorcycle mounted cams (it's about as big as a laser pointer) I use it sometimes just for the heck of it.  It'll give you an idea of what kind of range the A5 has with my setup.

I don't find 150 feet hard to believe.

It's just within the effective range of most paintball guns.

Remember that the opsgear guy is shooting at an open, non moving target in a field with no trees/leaves.

<just say no to unnecessarily sexualized sigs>

well thats good if you have somewhat of a clearing and a guy is 100 ft away looking the other way, he also is a non-moving target

but I mainly use the scope to survey the area, it makes it WAY easier to spot out an enemy than the naked eye

I like how much time he takes to take a shot at 50 ft. with absolutely nothing in the way with a stationary target.  He even takes the deep breaths, like he's a real sniper.  i can't believe anyone can buy into that propaganda from those kinds of websites.   ALL BARRELS SHOOT THE SAME DISTANCE.

And if you're safe enough to watch people through a scope, you're safe enough to move up and make a difference.  As far as spotting people, i would rather not have my marker weighed down with a clumsy scope and whatnot and make a quick move up the field.  Even with a semi-automatic, it's hard to tag someone out when they're at a dead sprint.  Especially if they're a sniper wannabe.

And sniping doesn't exist in paintball.

You my friend are a rusher then.

Keep in mind that I only play scenario and woodsball.

What would you call it if you were creeping up on someone and you see them and they don't see you and you set your gun and point at him then you shoot?  I would call that sniping someone.

I have broke friends, and I got a deal on the 2 Triads and the Spyder all for 50 dollars.  I couldn't pass it up.

i don't really believe in woodsball positions.

and i would call it a woodsball player who uses concealment to hide his position, just like everyone else.
