Ed should have some answers for me shortly, I sent him the pics and asked him if freeflow and Warped ever worked together. I'm pretty sure they didn't as freeflow made their own bodies (freeflow and freeflow lockout) and warped did their own milling on site in LA.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, man! And Merc, that's highly probable. If this thing is what people say it is, maybe a proper restoration is in order. |

yeah, I noticed that the reg isn't the stock warped sportz dark reg, the back block, bolt, and body definitely are, I can't remember, but I think the ram was an STO ram on the dark as well.

Striaght from Ed Poorman's desk:
Ed Poorman to me: show details 10:34 am (2½ hours ago) I'm not sure of the year but it is one of our bodies, as for the bolt, valve and hammer, we never worked with Ethan, so that must be aftermarket although Ethan and Freeflow did some pretty nice work back then. Ed - Warped 888-235-9277 So, you have a Dark body in that thing, but everything else is after market. Definitely not a limited run of 100 either. When I talked with him on the phone yesterday he said that they ran around 2,000 markers minimum per batch, limited runs don't pay out. It's too bad that Freeflow isn't around anymore, I'd love to get a hold of Ethan and see if he's got any stuff lying around for my LCD. It's nice to know people in the industry ![]() |

Hm... I'm off for some more research! Edit: If it's really not that special, then I'm just gonna deck it out as much as possible. Still lookin' at a Sniper though. Edited by DeTrevni - 09 January 2007 at 4:29pm |

As I said in the PM, Freeflow isn't anything to scoff at even if the history given by people in other forums is dubious at best. I had a Lockout for a little while (store gun) that I used in a couple of tournaments. It was probably one of the best non-custom-built markers I ever played with.

from what i heard the reason they went out of buisness is because there late model guns were faulty and they dident want to recall all of the guns they would need to fix.
i think they used a cintered tunsten hammer and the way it is manufactured it is supper hard but has a rough finish making it like a grinding stone inside the alum body. just means the hammer will wear the body hard. |
