My cousin is a paintball freak, but he's been using a tippmann 98 custom since he was 13 (hes 18 now) and i think its time for an upgrade! I'm not very into paintball and only ever played once, a noob if you prefer to call me that... So i don't know what to get exactly.
After shopping on amazon.com for a bit i came up with this shopping list and im not sure if everything will go together efficiently. My heart is set on customizing a gun that looks like a sniper for him, seeing as how he loves sniper's.
Can somebody help me out and tell me if these parts will work together or not? And another question is does anybody know if the Tippmann X7 come included with all the parts it shows on the picture, or are they sold separately?
I don't mind if anybody recommends other items, in fact it would help alot. But im trying to keep the price below $450 Thanks in advance :)

Another question i have is whether or not an APEX barrel would be a better alternative to the 22" barrel. Any idea's on other barrels that might help improve the guns overall efficiency?

The 22'' barrel is a TERRIBLE idea. All barrels over 14'' are unnecessary and just make playing difficult.

Without opening any links, I can tell you that all of those fancy doodads just make the marker unnecessairly big and bulky. Most paintballers like to add onto their markers as they see fit, and often change their mind.

If you want the biggest, baddest paintball upgrade buy him an X7 Phenom. The performance of the Phenom will stomp out all of the regular X7's and other Tippmanns.

Yea i guess that would probably work better, does the x7 phenom have the same attachments as the regular X7 though? I do know he likes stocks on his guns, as well as the little red laser scopes (Don't know their name, sorry)

Youre talking about the red dot sights. Close Enough lol

Anyway, I think the regular X7 stocks work. Check on the tippmann website, it probably lists it
