My son is 10 and he shoots a vs1 it can run on co2 or HPA. He tried a 68 3000 compressed air tank but it was to big. If she's not a spyder fan I would look on ebay for a used 68 carbine. It's smaller and lighter then a 98 and just as reliable. If she doesn't like it she could sell it to some old guy like me.

The older Tippmann's (68 Carbine, Pro Carbine, Pro Lite, etc.) had a significantly heavier trigger pull than the 98 series markers.  I wouldn't recommend one for someone with smaller/weaker hands.

Thanks again for all the input. Unfortunately, it ended up being all for naught. She got all girly at the last minute and decided not to go this time. Man I need a manchild.

Well my god son has is six and he has shown some intrest in Paintballing. I don't want to tke him to a field yet, but I do want to teach him some things. The thing is I never taught anyone before(and I'm starting with a kid? kill me now!lol). Can I get some advice on how to keep thier attention, And How I should break it down to him? Didn't want to start a new thread because I felt this all fit together!

Hah. At least you noticed! It's a LOT better than the other people who just don't care...

As for teaching, I'm a horrid teacher as well, so I can't really offer any tips. Good luck!
