I really can't say enough good things about the Alpha Black. There's a little bit of difficulty involved in changing out the stock barrel, since many aftermarket barrels are thinner than the stock. But, I've used my AB in scenario games with great success, with nothing more than a new barrel and a sling added to it- it's become a primary marker for me.

That A5 has an e-grip XDG Scorpion. I bought it for $259 I think. I also have two A5's with response triggers. The e-grip has a higher rate of fire than the R/T but it costs more.

Im thinking about gettting this gun. I heard they are good with all the new upgrades. Tippmann 98 Custom Platinum Paintball Gun - E-Trigger its $200 so I seems like a good deal.

All up to you scorpion however if you do plan on milsiming it get a Alpha Black from the start. It will save you monet. But remember there is NO after marker e-grip for it so if you want an e-grip you have to get the one factory installed.

i have to say that the alpha black is a good option, it's all ready for mil-sim) right out of the box, and you can allso get your self a good mask with the left over cash.

i got my a5 used for 100 bones, but if you are good with tools you can make your own parts...

it will save you lots of cash and you will have lots of money left over for other goodies.
