Question, what paint thinner did you use? I used M.E.K., and it was incredibly hard to get all the paint off.

i used paint stripper called "klean Strip Paint Stripper" it work really well. The paint came off by its self....

on an A5 all you have to do to feild strip it is:

1. take all pins out

2. detach tombstone and remove grip

3. unscrew the cylinder hose from the cyclone that go's into the side of your gun.

4. remove velocity screw

5 tip your gun so that the barrel is facing in the air.

---------------------------------------------

everything should slide out.

the ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTION is that no you dont have to retape the hose.....thats the good thing about a5...unlike the 98s

ps: im done painting and clear coating and im letting it set over night and will put gun back togeather and post new pics.   this forum thing is swag

If I were to do a fade job, I dont think I'd do just silver to black. You
could do something much more original/ eye catching. The new paintjob
is better than the first though.

What do you use to build up the pressure for the pressure chamber( air compressor, bike pump)? What kind of paint are you shooting out of that really long barrel?
