I know you are new, but remeber to put threads into their relevant forums.

Also, use the search button. This has been asked 4.3 trillion times.

This was discussed a while back amongst the regs, when things really started going to hell. It was determinded that it was rather easy to do, but that Admin doesn't care about us enough for it to matter.

It would be, as alot of ideas that have been proposed would be. But like I said...

The Admin doesn't care. I wish Jason was back.

If there was a thing to read before you enter the forum, I doubt most people would read it anyway.. They would probably just scroll down to the bottom and continue.

But anyway.. 98c by FAR

not a fair question its like saying "do you guys like apples or oranges more?" its a matter of personal taste

both the A-5 and 98 are VERY upgradable. however, in terms of home mods, the 98 takes the cake easy. the 98 is alot easier to moddify and personalize, there is plenty of chances for milling and customizing and modifying, where as the A-5 is a bit more solid and harder to mess with. and the 98 is alot easier to make an electric marker. I'm not talking about an E-grip though, I'm talking about the E-bolt. although it CAN be done to an A-5,( I have seen one person with an E-bolted A-5) its much easier to get one for a 98 custom. but anyways, in terms of moddifying, the 98 is the winner. although alot of the mods such as the "quick strip" mod are just to make the 98 have some of the features the A-5 already has

However, the A-5 has its advantages also. the A-5 is built like a tank, and I don't mean a Co2 tank, I mean like an abrams battle tank. the A-5 is built to be VERY solid and durable. its built to be the the woodsball gun of everyone dreams. and its easy to take care of compared to the 98.  and the cyclong is no exception to having a durable gun. basicly the cyclone makes it so you don't have a huge hopper sticking out above the gun which may get cought on something or get slammed into a branch and get torn off and broken, but instead is VERY close to the gun.

personally, I pick the A-5. I wanted a Tippmann so I could have a very reliable gun that was easy to take care of, and the A-5 wins that over the 98. if I wanted something that could be customized more, I would get a 98, but in terms of having a reliable and easy to clean gun, the A-5 wins.

heres what it is brought down too..considering how easy these guns are maintaining one fact is brought into proportion..how do these guns perform at the required velocity. i've tested these and the a-5 is good in range but accuracy is a little off..but the range is just amazing..and with the 98 the accuracy is awsome and the range is quite good to..but while testing these guns on fully auto the a-5 seems to blowback the balls in the hopper keeping them from shooting right but the 98 keeps it consistent..basicaly its a matter of opinion depending on what gun u use really.. some people have different needs..anyone agree?

Both guns chronoed at the same velocity will shoot the same distance. Accuracy will be the same provided the same paint and barrel are used on both guns.

The A-5 forcefeeds paint into the gun, so blowback is not an issue. On 98 Customs and Pros it can be a problem.

Ah, but here is the solution.  You make them take a quiz, yes, a test to get into the forum.  You force them to answer 10-20 questions about the rules before their username is activated.  Even if they don't read the "forum tutorial", they will still have to read the questions and look up the answer, which still gets the information in their small brains.
