hey im planning on getting a red dot sight, wanting to know which is best, or if their is a better one. also want to know the advantages of each, an dpeoples opinions.

What kind of gun do you have? You really don't need that. Sure it might be comforting to look through a red dot to see a red dot on your targets body, but what does it really do for you? Just look down the top of your gun and point. Fire off your first round then calculate where to shot from there.

i have a tippmann a5. i can line it up and have good acuracy, just have a preferance to the red dot, vs lining up the sights, i think it would be faster and a little easier

You shouldn't have to line up your sights. Period. At the ranges you play paintball at >50 meters, you should be able to point, shoot and still hit you target. Hell, even in the Corps we are thought not even to use sights in QCB. Its all point and shoot. Besides with that nice MP-5 front sight reticle the A-5 has, as long as you get flash sight picture through the front sight you don't even need the rear sight.
