The poor guy was so pinned down, I think I saw him peek out twice in 10 minutes. And yes, it's unfortunate that when it comes down to "tourney play" you will eventually have to "upgrade" to a speedier gun, to spray paint, to make up for the inherent inaccuracy of shooting a musket ball made of gelatin and spit at low velocity... I have an Angel and a Shocker too, and they have their uses, when they're not down, but no one is paying me to win, so I just play to have fun.

Wow, that's just.... well... the stupidest thing I've heard all day.

Despite what the apex claims to be able to do, the arc it can cause isn't severe enough to drop over a snake and take a 90* dive into someone. In addendum, if you were playing speedball and someone was pinned on a snake for 10 minutes, then NOBODY on the field was actually playing speedball.

Throwing tourney-play in quotes signifies what exactly? Do you have sort of disdain for tournament players? Could it possibly be the fact that they'd wipe the field with you in under 2 minutes? Also, claiming that you need to upgrade to a higher-end electro-pneumatic marker to "spray paint" to make up for the supposed inherent inaccuracy of a paintball is nothing more than the same tired and old cliche of speedball and tournament players having no skill, so they have to gain accuracy by volume. That is simply not true. Keeping a lane shut, or dominating your section of field requires massive amounts of paint simply due to the fact that there is an objective to achieve in what is a very tight time-limit. Sure, the odds of hitting someone work out better if you have more paint in the air, so do the odds of not having a bounce when you hit someone. But the fact of the matter is that it isn't a volume of paint to change the statistics of accuracy.

Sure, you can play speedball with whatever marker you like, but when it comes down to fast and furious competition, a long marker (i.e., a-5) with a tall and wide profile and significantly more weight than the higher-end electros out there = Not Good For Speedball.

Imagine it: You poke out the side of the bunker and 10 paintballs hit the giant, oversized hunk of metal that feeds the paintballs into the gun.
