My friends doing the same thing.  The best things for bunkers is something that will stay together for a long period of time.  Hay will not last very long, maybe a year or so until it starts to fall apart and then you have a mess.  Its really according to where you live.

The best thing to do is to go to a local mechanic or car shop and ask for left over tires that they don't want.  But the down fall of that is that tires can hold water which, attracts misquitos.  You could also go to your local communication company also and ask for spools that they don't want.  My friend done that and they gave him over 2 dozen for free.

Use anything and everything. DO NOT go out and buy little speedball bunkers that cost $500 each just because they are "official". Make it your own. Use spools, tires, wood, hay, cows for moving bunkers, or whatever. Who cares. Its your field.

the plastic palettes are from Giant Eagle, and no I did not steal them, my brother works there and he asked his manager if he could take them, we also have a car hood in here that you cannot see and a van that we use as a tank that you cannot see
