I want to buy a Smart Parts marker...

Figured that would get some attention. Bet I am being serious. I DO NOT WANT TO SUPPORT THEIR FILTH, though. I was looking at Action Village, and I really like the Game Face Thunders. I always have. Getting Vision on it shouldn't be too difficult, then I get a Thunder Vision. Woo.

Why? I've always liked Imps. Good beater guns you can customize the poo out of. Plus, I haven't owned one yet. Reason 'nuff right there.

My question to you is: Does anyone know if I were to buy surplus-stock Impys, which I assume the Game Faces are, that are private label, will SP see a dime? If GF licensed the rights to produce Imps from SP, then aren't the GF Imps GF exclusively at this point? I have no problem buying from Game Face.

Oh. I wasn't sure if it AV had to pay for the stock, or what-have-you. I'm no retailer. 

So, by buying a marker from AV, you are encouraging them to buy more to increase sales, which gives money to the manufacturer. BUT, Game Face purchased the rights to produce these markers, and no longer do, so SP won't see a dime.

Tempting. Now I have to determine if I really want an Impy...

But Imps are no longer made, so they won't be restocked. Once they are gone, I predict, they will stay gone. I don't see AV stocking up again on a marker that is no longer bought.

I wasn't sure if I should mention it... I was thinking of bidding on it myself (before I realized I couldn't justify buying more gear).

I honestly don't know what to think. I mean, I've got this tingling in my stomach, but I feel surprisingly calm and collected. Like it's almost a dream.

You need to check out that thread in T&O. It's kinda lifeless, but you get the idea. I bought those masks for that, and 2 of them were my friends.
