I know this is an odd question to be posted here, but hopefully someone can help. I just recently purchased an X7 and I'm trying to get my buddy into paintball. He liked the spiders and I told him that if he's going to drop $240 on a MR2 with kit that he should just upgrade and buy the MR3 and I'll let him borrow a mask and CO2 tank. However, just like the A5 and X7, I can't see much of a difference between the MR2 and MR3 as far as performance goes. MR3 has an adjustable stock, perhaps a more durable design, and ACE while the MR2 has ACS. Is the MR3 just a MR2 with more cosmetics? I’ve read nothing but good things about the MR3 so I’m not worried about the quality of his gun. I’m more or less curious. |

The mr3 has a vision system. I had a chance to play With Tom Cole of Bad Company and he was using an mr3. It shot nice.

An ACS is a cheap way of anti chop, that still can chop a little and is ever so slightly slower. Eyes are much better and will not chop (Barrel breaks will still happen though) unless they are cheap eyes and do not see dark paint.
