I was planing on getting a engler ak type paintball gun,but the x7 version is not that pretty compared to the A-5 version. So I plan on the A-5 version.  Do you guys think the A-5 will be around for a while? Im concerned about getting parts down the road for the A-5.

You should be fine!

If you check the schematics from each gun, many of the parts from the X7/A5 are interchangible.

Even with that aside, A5 should be around for a while.

S][D, I'm about to get an A-5 myself and I was asking the same question.  The A-5 has been around for 5 years (I think) and I want to be sure The gun won't be discontinued in a year or two.

If the 98 can be used as a gauge... it's still in production, and it's been around for a decade. It's changed some since it first came out... but for the most part, still uses most of the original parts.

If you're concerned... go ahead and get some replacement parts already, so you have them on-hand. The usual wear-n-tear items.

I keep telling myself to order another spare rear bolt and sear, just so I have them.

Figures carl would kill the Revolution sig....freaking carl...

The A5 will be around for some time. You shouldn't worry about no being able to find upgrades readily available for them, as they'll still be in production.
