Meh. Dont Listen to DeTrev and Tallen. The day that they say anything is better than a cocker is the day I buy out Summit Partners and own Tippmann.

I've come to the conclusion that it is better just to build your own E-Mag rather than spend a ton of cash on one. Personally, I started out with a very basic mag, and now I'm making my own body, frame, and a bunch of other stuff. All I need is a X-Valve and I'm good.

Although, I am cheap and dont want to buy a new E-Mag, you might still want to.

Oh, and just to bust Tallen, what kind of valve is used in most high end electros being made? Spool Valves. And what are they based on?

There are lots of things better than a 'cocker. It just depends on your definition of what's better. For example, Egos are far superior in weight, speed (over a standard e-cocker), and almost on par with efficiency.

As for modern spool valves. They're actually not based off of mag valves. Electro-pneumatic spool valves are balanced spools rather than unbalanced "dump chamber" valves like the mag. In a mag it is the operating pressure of the valve the pushes the bolt forward versus the use of a solenoid and secondary reg to push the bolt forward.

What I should have said is "Dont listen to DeTrev or Tallen when you're argueing against cockers".

Sadly enough, those $160 BNIB Superstocks are looking very cheap to me right now. I'd kill for an E-Mag too, but they're so pricey and not too common these days.

He found one of the last I'd seen for the $160 price. I was looking to buy one instead of just grabbing an e-blade but they've gone up. Mamasboi got rather lucky. They're extremely rare to find new now since they've been blown out of inventory from almost every online warehouse. The ones I've seen on E-bay recently have been hitting $180-$200 bone stock right now.
