It will not work. The spring can't feed around so many corners. Unless of course you are only joking. . .

theres a way, but it would be so inconvenient that its not even funny, just stick with hoppers or get one of those pistols, or you could do a tommy gun circular spring deal...........

That would be pretty fun. And a lot better than having your hopper open mid game with out you realizing it. This sport is expensive enough without spilling paint all over the floor. . .

Yeah, but when you run out of ammo, you're in deep doo-doos. Think of the reload times...

ive been thinking about doing that.  my idea is to use 50 cal paintballs like what they have for blowguns, which fit perfectly into 20 ga. wads.  also, since those wads fit good in the barrel, no special one would need to be made.  but anyways, i would make a drum feed for those wads, and and put a hole in the side of the gun where the mag would empty into.  then afterputting small holes in the bottem of the wad so the paintball would be forced out and making the mag so it would clip onto the gun, id be all set.  the wad would be like a sabot shell that would fall away after it left the barrel.  maybe a crazy idea, but it sounds good to me.

Tippmann actually has a patent for it. They were going to use it with the early Factory F/A.

what the AT85 does is it uses 25 shot magazines, and you can add an unobtrusive foward loader under the barrel which will add about 55 shots.
