If you are going to want an auotmatic turret, plan on spending some money...ESPECIALLY if it is gonna be easily moved on the field.  If you REALLY want to build one, then I have a couple of good things that I have tried.

     1)  With a 98 custom, instead of a normal electric hopper, attach a box (about the size of a 2,000 count paint box) to your hopper any way that is possible (I ended using a LOAD of duct-tape).  Then, I suggest a BIG C02 tank like the ones you strap on your back and a remote line.  Then, buy a tactical stock from Tippmann, and find a bi-pod some where on the net.  This is not a turret exactly, but it makes a damn cool marker to rip out at a woods game with ur friends.  (P.S.: If you want, camo it with paint and camo cloth)

Arent firestorm cranks supposed to create a turret affect or something? Anways, you could find a way to mount a pole/rod into a front grip of either tippmann model (98c, A5) and mount it to a board. Put a big box on top and a big CO2 tank behind you and go at it.

My friends and I thought about doing this so we could then mount it to a 4-wheeler and do drive-bys....

Firestorm's Double Trouble Turret is probably what your looking for... but it's like $600 something.
I'll see you before you see me.

Here you go. Portable and awesome but expensive and probably allowed next to nowhere. You could just use the pictures as a guide and make your own design (like instead of a 52mm cannon, it could be a suped up 98 like boonies_baller said). That would actually be pretty cool to se made; it'd be like a German 20mm Flak (like in Saving Private Ryan). Look nice in a D-Day scenario.

we have decoded that what we want to do would not be as cool as we wanted so our new plan is to make a paintball warthog (from halo). We wanna get a junked golf cart or go-kart n make it out of it. so far we got a mounted gun on from passenger side n a mounted turret on back for a gunner person. If u got ne ideas tell me! we want this to b sweet.

If you wanna make a warthog style turret, here's the way to go.

Start with a stock A5. Add a flatline barrel and e-grip. Now, mount a collar around the flatline shroud, and attach three sections of 1" PVC piping around it at equal intervals, to get the multi-barrel look. Get a sheet of plywood, paint it black, and cut it out in the shield design, and mount that just behind the collar. Finally, mount it on a pivoting base, and you're done.

That's the simple version. If you want to be the COOLEST kid on the block, though, here's what you do.

Start as previous w/ the flatline egrip A5. Instead of mounting the PVC and the shield on the A5, though, instead built a mount so that thos are seperate form the marker. What you want to do now is build the thre PVC sections onto some kind of rotating collar. Get an old power drill or something for a motor, and hook up a power souces and a switch so that when you pull the A5's trigger, the motor will be turned on, and the three PVC barrels will rotate around the A5 flatline shroud.

As you get more money for upgrades, you can change ammo sources. Get rid of the hopper and replace it with an adapter so youc an run a warp feed to the A5. Buy an old surplus .50 calibre ammunition can from a surplus store or Ebay. Mount the warpfeeder in or under the ammo can, and load it up with paintballs, so it dumps them into the warp feed. That gives you a thousand or more paintballs,a dn the reload you jsut open the ammoc an and dump another bag in.

Really, this is limited more by your creativity than your budget. Even just a stock A5 with a flatline is a good start, once you've added on some cosmetics. Rate of fire won't be much though. Later you can add an egrip, or an Rt, or whatever triger mods you can to do. A lot fo this stuff can be found at a good price on Ebay.

Paintball warthog, that's a pretty cool idea. Wouldn't mind see it when your done...

Try talking to Engler sometime about getting your markers modded to look like the battle rifle or smg from Halo.

The Warthog would be great!

I think you need a modified Browning on the back for your Wart.

my idea is a bit different, looks?

My idea would be to get a lapco t-stock with an e-grip and double trigger and a lapco bigshot 12 inch with the machine gun shroud then replace the front grip with a tri pod with a revolving platform that the a-5 is mounted on then an crap load of R-5 hoppers with gianty corks in them and every time you run out you put on another R-5 and keep going
oh remote line and 24oz co2 tank

Paint_man, I guess you've never been to a scenario game...

At this past year's Oklahoma D-day there was something like 20 tanks, plus one of them was an award-winning, exact replica of a Panzer IV. I think the Warthog idea is pretty original, someday we might be reading about it.

FrazerZZMX, if you have a driver's license or permit, try buying an old, little pickup truck like one of those ones made in Japan (Nissan, Toyota, etc.). You might find one for like $500.
