I was reading the threads in here and it talked about tippmann never making a paintball pistol which gave me a kickass idea... |

its already been done and it had a remote line and a 10 rd. pistol loader thingy on it: u could also put one of the back parts of a 2 piece barrel on there so itll have better accuracy |

vert adapter,12 gram tank adapter, put the tank in the front grip,be better w/an a-5 since they make a 3 inch barrel for it,plus you dont need a vert adapter you just remove the hose.cyclone tho...see if you can find one a those 10-15 rd tube things that are spring loaded, they go where the hopper normally does, and lay along the top of the gun,idk if the have them for a 98c.they also make prefilled 4 oz co2 tanks you can buy,you could run run them vertical on a 98.

For the 12 grams you'll need to get a quick change I believe they're called: http://www.phantomonline.com/Accessories/accessories.html Part number 9419. You can probably find it cheaper elsewhere. This screws right into your ASA. Edited by DrexelSkaPB |

It seems like all the cool cats do this:
Custom 98, Flatline, r/t, CAR stock, custom camo paintjob, which every hopper I feel like putting on it, vertical adapter, oh dibs, I'm running out of charact |

10 round thing... I believe a feed tube? A feed stick was what those things on older guns were called; they came before hoppers and were usually just a PVC pipe extending from the gun.

If your'e looking for a pistol, either of the Ariakons are great. They're both very new (The Ariakon Combat Pistol came out in Deceber, and the Overlord pistol in February) and are about $100-$120 each. Very impressive gas efficiency of 12g CO2- something like 35 shots per in many cases, and of course it has Ariakon's reliability.

yeah i dont know why any one would want a paintball pistol...just carry an extra pod. instead of $100 get $10 and it carries more paint...and shoots more times without reloading.

Why a pistol? Well first off, Tippmann is a kick butt brand. Affordable and dependable. Second, I like to have a second (some call it a back up) marker for close quarters, like in the city. I don't want to have to turn my 98 down, at the same time I want lower PSI, so I don't brain someone! Finaly WHY NOT! I think Tippmann should make a pistol! They would seel good! Personaly, I have a 98C, and a SL68II. I am in the market for a pistol, But I am probably going to go with a 89.00 version, or I will just turn my 68II down, and use it as a back up! Just my 1/2 cent

Pistols aren't that accurate to begin with so don't worry. What you should do is move the trigger frame forward and get a vertical adapter for 12 gram Co2 and then saw the barrel down so it only sticks out about 3/4 inch. there's your pistol |
