Best bet is to learn the feel for the gun. When I shoot I dont
even bother aimming, I know the guin well enough that I generally hit
my mark.

Darur is right, sights are worthless in paintball, the markers are not accurate enough, and you are shooting at each other at such close ranges that you don’t need sights. As for the sights being hard to use, they are an exact copy of the sights on the MP-5, which are actually considered to be among the simplest sights in the world to use, this opinion is held by myself, professional shooters, and law enforcement agencies around the world, but I guess its all personal preference. But still, the sights are worthless on a paintball marker anyways. |

pfff, you don't need to aim, just shoot. It's darn near impossible to aim alot of guns if you have a paintball mask on. They're just too bulky.

aiming can help, and i know where your coming from man. the a5 is a bit hard to aim with right off the bat, but getting your skills induced into the marker is more essential and probably more benefitial on your part. it'll be quicker too. |

yeah really u never have tiem enuf to line up the sights anyway(in speedball i mean) just point ur marker in the general direction and blast a hopper full at them. works for me. j/k. i use like 10 shots b4 i move. another way to aim is to put ur first finger on he side of the gun like on the safety(ur trigger finger) and use ur middle finger to pull the trigger then point at ur target and ther u have it(thanks to webdogradio)

Like Klaus said, just use some white-out or other bright colored paint on your front site blade.
This will make it stand out a LOT more. |

like mt.vigilante said,MP5 sights are considered some of the simplest and easiest to use in the real world, but theyre worthless for paintball other than for looks, which is one of the reasons tippmann chose those sights for the A-5,its an MP5K themed marker |

Sights in paintball are not common of the speedball field or woods. Stock class markers are more likely to have some kind of additinal sight only because it is easyer to have a sight than walk your rounds in like you can with a semi.
Plus most markers dont have a long enough range to need more than the iron sights. Maybe when they design a marker that can hit someone 300yards away and still hit someone only 10 ft away safely more people will need sights. If you want a sight though there are plenty of after market sights that will work. |
