Welcome to the forum.
The X-7 and the A-5 are basically the same gun. The X-7 is newer and does have some performance upgrades - better Cyclone, lighter body - but the differences are mostly cosmetic.
The A-5 is designed to be an easily upgradeable paintball gun. The X-7 is built around a modular milsim concept. If you want to go hardcore milsim with easy premade and interchangeable parts, then the X-7 is for you. Otherwise the extra money is wasted. The two guns shoot exactly the same.

I have an A-5 and truly like it. My brother has both and so far has been leaning more towards his A-5 as the X7 seems to have issues a lot. Even though they are essentially the same marker in different clothing, the X7 just hasn't been as realiable for him. Like Rambinos says, unless you are really in love with the looks and modular aspect of the X7, I would save the cash for some extra play time and get an A-5.

I'd say the A5. Seems the same as the X7 except for some extra visual appeal.

so I realy like the x7 and i cant find stuff on the internet for the a5 so it looks kind of the way the x7 looks like so does anyone know what the common problems are with the x7 and what type of internal upgrades i can get so that it doesnt have those problems as much?

what kind of stuff cant you find first off? They have more for the A5 than the X7 lol. As far as upgrades there is always the barrel which is a good first upgrade. when it comes to internals all is well on the X7 and the "after market" upgrades usually hinder the performance. the only internal part really ever upgraded with good cause is the ratchet but it is unneccesary. That is also true for the A5. The A5 and X7 are the same gun in different clothes.
