Hey, I currently own a 98c and want to play with some peers at the local pb field, but seeing as rentals are about $30 here, not all of them can afford it.  I play fairly frequently and would like to invest in 3 extra paintball guns to make the sport more affordable for my friends.  The markers don't have to be accurate or have a high bps, I just want something that won't break on me.  I'm looking to buy them fairly cheap and used off of ebay for about $20-$30 ea, I was wondering if anyone could suggest some markers to look for, and some to avoid.  All comments are appreciated, thanks!

If you are looking for reliable Tippmann is the way to go but I don't know about $30 bucks each. At tht price maybe look into some splatmasters or something like that.

Like the last guy said, Tippmann are the way to go in terms of reliability, espeically the 98, which would probably be the cheapest.  I'm not so sure your going to be able to find one for around $30 bucks though.  Although I have been able to pick up on some sweet deals on eBay throughout my day.

I have seen some lots of used 98 field markers lately for sale in the $40-$50 range. I think anything you find for less may not be so reliable.
