Hey gaiz! Just bought my first semi 'cocker in what's been FAR too long! However, it's not in yet, so I'll just leave this teaser pic here. Give you a hint: it's NIB from 2002! Well, lookie what got here! Imma cut it open.

That box brings back some memories... although I have an 01. Does yours have the fancy annodizing they offered out of the factory? Or was that the next year? I remember the days of paintball being super wonder awesome in middle school... and all the kids buying cockers who had no idea why they were buying cockers.(worked out for me when the fad passed, hurray for free pump kits and rams!)

Story behind it: It was sitting in someone's local proshop for a few years, unsold. Actually, he had 2 of them, a green one and this red one. The proshop flipped them on the cheap ($250) and they were bought (both over Custom Cockers) in like 5 minutes. The guy I bought it from wanted to turn it around for some major profit and listed it for $450. No one was interested. Eventually, it came down to $325 plus shipping, which I could justify. I've been wanting one of these for a LONG time, and I figured I'd hate myself if I let it go. So I nabbed it. :)

Nah. I intend on breaking this thing of its "NIBness." :)
But I don't intend on doing too much. I really don't have much of a problem with the way it's currently setup, but I would like to get an adjuster cap for the Sledgehammer, I'd like to get a better slider, and maybe a different ram. Also, I want to get a clamping feedneck on there as well. Other than that, I like it. :) |

Good. I can't stand it when people buy super-nice factory 'Cockers (or in this case, Autocockers
 ) and feel the need to replace everything on it none-the-less. I'm of the opinion that they should be kept simple and clean.I really, really need to get a nice 'Cocker some time. Still working on getting a newer Angel, though. I recently bought a C&C IR3, but I'm thinking that I still want either another A4 Fly like the one I used to have, or a G7. I can't decide. I guess I should just buy them all and call it a day  . |
