I'd Get the A5... If you dont like the Taste of a tippmann (Many people dont) look into a Base impulse or a BKO.

And don't upgrade right off the bat.... Keep your gun stock for 2 or 3 games, the decide which upgrades you want...
Your first upgrade should almost always be a new barrel (I've heard lapco bigshots, and J&J ceramics are really good) |

yea keep the gun stock for a bit, except for a bolt. get a delrin bolt right off the bat to save the inside walls of your gun. also, get the nitro right off the bat too because cockers on co2 isnt great.
But i would get the cocker |

I've got both guns, the A5 has a flatline, e grip, 2x trigger, and runs Hpa. The cocker is an 04 WGP vert, with a Dye ultralite, shocktech drop, Evo II, and hpa. The cocker is lighter, and more accurate. The A5 is faster, shoots further, and has a lower profile. It is possible to short stroke the cocker and break paint, it's been months since I broke paint in my A5. I got the cocker used from a friend, and required alot of adjustment to get it working right, the A5 requires almost no adjument. The cocker is more upgradeable than the A5 in the long run, and if you've got the money for the upgrades, it will be a better gun. But for all around, everyday use, the A5 won't let you down. |
