Firstly, there are no such things as snipers in paintball. I'd go for the 98c so you can get a stock and flatline and go play "sniper" all you want.

yea there is no such thing as a sniper in paintball. many newb say that because they have a long barrel.

98% of ion owners think ions are better than any high end gun. If you would like to bonus ball these idiots put this in your sig.

This debate will never end. Instead of sniper call yourself a Sharp Shooter. This will solve the sniper debate/flaming that goes on here.

If you want to be a Sharp Shooter in paintball you will need the following items.

- C-98 (Save a chunk of change by buying this instead of the A-5.)
- Flatline (You will out distance everyone on the field.)
- Good paint for Flatline (You won't shoot much paint anyway so you will be able too afford good paint.)
- A scope is basicaly useless unless you want to use it for spotting your target. Which i do, then it's ok.
- Good camoflage clothing (Shirt, pants and hat or head scarf. Do not wear anything with white, reds, blues, yellows, silver colors in it.)

Upgrades I would buy would be:
- Remote
- CAR Stock
- PB Rocket Cock (Keeps dirt/pine needles out of the gun, you will be on your belly doing a lot crawling around.)
- Brass Eagle 45 round hopper (You don't need a 200 round hopper, see above reason.)
- Make yourself a Ghillie suit to match your terrain

Cheaper alternative to "Upgrades i would buy":
- PB Rocket Cock
- Brass Eagle 45 round hopper
- But plate for your tank (Canister can now be used as a stock. I suggest a 12oz tank, they are thinner and fit nicely on the shoulder. I find the 20oz to thick.)

Good luck Sharp Shooting your enemy. :)

Remember, one shot, one kill......

A5 flatline is better than 98 flatline because you don't really have to align it. Try aligning the 98 flatline yourself and you will run into some problems at first, but eventualy get it right. Only plus to 98 with flatline to A5 with flatline is the ability to clean out your barrel without completely taking off your barrel.
