I own a low pressure n2 tank with an output of about 400. i have have always used it on a spyder and it works fine, but now i have a tippmann pro and my friends tell me that low pressure air doesnt work on tippmanns. i dont want to spend the money on the low pressure system, so will it mess up my marker if i use low pressure air?

It wont mess up your marker, it might not put out enough pressure for the marker to cycle or the paintballs won't go very fast at all though.
My guess is you won't be able to shoot the tippmann much over 140 fps, I have never tried one with a lp tank though. |

pretty much what he said. Tippmann operate on a pressure of 800psi, and
with a regulator, you can get them down to around 700. So your tank is
coming up 300psi short. In this case, either you won't have enough
pressure to shoot the paintball, (they'll just come out of your barrel
very slowly), or you won't have enough pressure to recock your gun.

^Basicly what they said. So you're either going to have to buy the LPK, or a HP tank.
