Warps are 20bps with the 12v mod and HALO's are 22bps without the Vboard. 2bps difference, big freakin deal.
And yeah, keep the warp. Who cares what it looks like, as long as it performs well. If it prevents you from taking hopper hits then I don't care how ugly it is. And really, it isn't ugly. I love how that setup looks. It's sharp! I feel FalloutMan's paint too. People bashing things just because they look fugly. Hey, as long as you can't hit me and I can shoot at you from the weirdest angles then I don't give a flying wahoo what my setup looks like.

I've decided to try the warp for a couple games, then see what happens. I have to intellifeed it though, I bet it'll work great!

turn your gun sideways at a 90* angle. does it still shoot paintballs? mine does : )

do you have a giant hopper sticking up off the top of your gun? the warp takes it off the top, and puts it in a place where you'd get a body hit anyway. i've used my warp for a year and a half and have never taken a hopper shot.
