Nice looking Nelly. Original paint it looks like. Some fine emery cloth with a bit of air-tool oil on it will take the rust off of the bolt handle if you chuck it in a power-drill and polish it down. It won't rust very easily if you use some car-polishing compound to make it extremely fine.
