Maybe paint it like a dark charcoal color or a graphite color, 98s looks sweet like that.

I found a jar of lye, but I'm too scared to use it. It can cause third-degree burns on contact. The warning label is like half a mile long. Plus I think my dad still needs it.

Any other suggestions? Sanding is too menial.

EDIT: The baking soda trick didn't work as well as it seemed like at first.


I'll polish it to a mirror finish...that would own...

well if u have a dremel u should have polished it(same as polishihng ur internals) that would have came out really really nice but nice job

When I get a Dremel, I'm going to polish the internals, and then polish the outside to a mirror finish.

BTW I'm almost done with the other half.
