It looks like an airsoft gun. If you want to prove it's real show us the breach and the business end of the barrel.
I'm not a huge fan of the AK itself. The M4A1 is honestly not reliable. Only when you switch the M4 carbine to a 6.8x43mm with a Barrett upper will you get reliable results. Use Remington 6.8x43mm rounds and you're good. If you're not going to convert the M4 there's also some blended metal ammo from LeMas in both .223 and .308 but that stuff will F someone up if they get hit with it. What I want to see is a civilian with an XM8. Now there's an odd looking rifle. |

I believe .50 cal rifles are a "restricted" firearm in Canada and some parts of the US. But I'm not overly sure. But they're quite loud so if your neighbors didn't know you had one before, they sure will when you let off a round. |

What happens if someone stole it? Then you're screwed...and besides.. who burns their nickname into the side of a "real" gun? Edited by azncowboy - 10 September 2006 at 10:23pm |

Personally, I don't like it.... no offense, I just like ak's in the authentic "wood" look worn down and beaten. Hell goto Iraq did around enough in the sand and you'll find your own :-P

HAHA! That's a sexy beast!! Honestly I was worried you were going to be a little poser that pretends to have a real AK when it's actually an airsoft gun. That's a nice acquisition you have there. Full auto is a waste of ammo. But if the ammo is free, fire away!! haha! How old is that rifle? It looks hardly used and really well kept. Did you buy it in the US or Canada? The rifle says it was imported into YT which is the Yukon in Canada. Edited by azncowboy - 11 September 2006 at 9:15am |

I bought it in Oregon, and I havent figured out how old it is, however it came with an original oil and solvent canteen. It is preban with a threaded barell, the wood for it is very used and beat up i had to refinish it when i got it. Other then that all i can tell is that it was very well taken care of before i got it and now it is very very well taken care of. Its in my hands more then my girlfriend is and it even sleeps next to my bed

can't legally buy them in canada. you could only own them if they were in canada before they were banned. |

THATS THE BEST MILSIM IVE EVAR SEEN 10/10.
Really, though, that looks pretty awesome. I also like the composite instead of wood. It has more of a modern look to it. Definitely looks fun to shoot (especially if you know someone that owns a lot of land, and has a prairie dog problem), although I don't condone you burning your name into the stock. Couldn't you have used a Post-It or something? |

Some 50 cal rifles are classifyed as non restricted firearms so they are legal with a normal PAL. There are many verytions of the AR-15 that are legal in canada, they are semi only and have 5 round mags |
