I just wanted to see if I could pull this kind of scheme off and get away from
the same old thing I've been dong lately. This wasn't done to match the
environment around here, it was just an excercise to see if I could do it. Just

"Gat" is now considered to be "gangstah" or "gangsta" (see "Thug mofo,") terminology. "Gat" usually refers to a pistol, or other sidearm. The term "gat" is a shortening of the word, "gatling," which used to be used in reference to gatling guns. Now however, "gat" usually only appears in pop culture "works", specifically "Hip Hop" or "Rap," musics the most.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

EDIT: The term appeared around the early 1900's, possibly earlier.
