Hi, I've been out of the paintball world for about 2 years and my 98 has just been sitting around, well I am getting back in to it now, and was just wondering if you guys think she is still a good gun or is it time for a big upgrade? well here she is, I have the DOP rocketcock, rear velocity adjuster, and the Teflon coated billet power tube and bolt, the tippmann vertical adapter and expansion chamber , the flatline and of course the drop forward and double trigger. never really felt the need for any electronics on the marker because I play alot of woodsball. well what do you think? is it time for a marker upgrade, or is it still a good marker?

I'm a white male, age 18 to 49. Everyone listens to me, no matter how dumb my suggestions are.

Looks nice. I would suggest a RT and cyclone.

Pumpker'd; (V.) When a pump player runs up and shoots you at point blank range because you thought 20bps made you good.

Yeah ya need a fire power up like an R/T. Then replace the x-chamber with a regulator. Cyclone would be a nice up as well.
Looks nice. |

I agree. A R/T and a cyclone would keep it mech for woods but still be a great upgrade.

Thats a soild setup right there. Very nice for woodsball, but yes a regulator would be a better choice instead of the x-chmaber. I wish i would have known it earlier...

I would take off the drop, they are useless. They just make your setup taller.

You still could spend over a grand upgrading this baby. Keep it and have fun with it. Search for upgrades you think you might like and then get 'em. It's that simple. (well if you have money of course). |
