It was silver. I had a 98 with the first type of silver paint they came out with. The first type of silver paint they used was a very poor quality and it basically just flaked off if anything touched it. So I decided to paint it a glossy black. The reason for this was that my barrel is black, expansion chamber black, grips are black, feed neck, hopper. So I was thinking either white or black but since I play woodsball I wanted something that would be fairly hard to see. So its not to much different from the black tippys cept the fact that it has a clear coat on it.

You should have sold it as a rare gun, not repaint the "first" silver.

It wasnt the first.. It was the first type of silver paint they used on it. There were two kinds of paint. The first was replaced because it didn't adhere to the surface well. Mine was one with the old silver paint on it so it flaked off.

I first started out with a grey to black fade. Since it was my first time painting anything It didnt go to well. I ended up just covering over it with black. Not great. But my setup is fairly good for only making $600 this summer.
