Ok I cant decide which a-5 i want. Either the e-grip, or response, or maybe even the stock. I had a 98 custom for my first gun. A autococker for my second and i currently have a smart parts ion. The ion is a good gun, but for some reason i really miss my old 98 custom. I tried a a-5 at my local paintball shop and i like it, but dont know which one to get. I love to shoot fast, so i play speedball alot, and sometimes woodsball. Id like a opinion on which one to get and maybe some suggestions for some good first upgrades for the gun. And id like a opinion fast cause im either selling or trading my ion for the a-5 on wed.

E-grip if you play tournys, R/T if you don't. If you get an e-grip get a WAS or APE board.

Since you imply you want it for speedball, there's a chance that they won't let you use a R/T, so your best choice is an egrip since you like to shoot fast.

Ok ill get a egrip but theres only one problem, the paintball shop is charging 400 bucks for a egrip. but they did have a used a-5 with a egrip and a aftermarket barrel for 310, do u guys think the used one is a good deal. And i was also thinking that i could buy the stock a-5 new, and try it for a game, and then buy a egrip separately from ebay or something.

I would buy the stock A-5, play with it for a little while, see what you want to change about it. Then buy your upgrades.

i've bought numerous things off ebay, and had great luck. if you are looking at buying stuff online, make sure you check feedback on the seller before buying....

Well the guy just wouldnt give me much money for the ion, only 80 bucks, so im going to keep it for a while maybe some good upgrades. Then i might sell it on ebay, towards and a-5 with an egrip.
