I am looking into it now, actually seems like not that much going on though till the spring, the group I play with has grown leaps and bounds though, when we originally started with 6 people that played every week, we are now up to 24 and growing. **some of them guys got a point, just get a hopper at the least** What kind of hopper do you mean? I have though about it and I am going to hold out and get a Qloader hooper some time in the hopefully not to distant future Its all about having a gun thats right for you. I love my M4 stock on my 98C, If it works for you then its IMO a good gun. Yeah the gun does work great and for me, and I am happy with it, I have been adding some more things to it and am still evolving the gun so in time it will change but I think that is the way it should be, your game play changes and so does your gun, it's what makes it yours. |

there is no such rating of "3 balls per second" for the flatline. It doesn't make sense, as at the speed the balls move, you could fire 30 bps and there would still be a 10' gap inbetween them. Atleast research you're arguments, that way you don't look like an idiot who's just arguing for the sake of arguing. |

Leave the poor guy alone...for his type of play, his gun works great for him..he does not play speedball/big games, nor does he want to, and he doesn't have the need for a trigger up or an agitated hopper. The feed he has on his gun is not usless for his settup since he has a scope, and this the direct feed gets the hopper out of the way. Many people think a scope is useless on a paintball marker, but that is not entirley true. A scope in his type of situation where he is playing in the woods where things can get pretty dark can be very useful; a scope can be used to "spot" targets at distances longer than you would normally be able see. Although he does.t have one, a sight, particularly a red dot sight, is better then iron/fixed sights, and especially better than no sight at all. For those of you who say a scope on a paintball gun is usless, you are being completely ignorent and downright wrong. The US military has spent millions of dollars in testing whcih type of sighting method is the most effecient for any type of projectile firing tool. A red dot allows it's user to acquire a target quicker and more accurately than any other method. As for the flatline comment, when matched with the right paint and velocity, the flaltine WILL outperform any barrel out there distance wise, and will be pretty close accuracy wise.....and yes, it will take a significant amount of work to get right, but the rewards outweigh the amount of work the stock comment is also wrong, because a stock WILL help your aim, even morso than a tank..it also weighs considerably less than a tank on the end of your gun depending on which stock you get, and it also has an amazing intiidation factor on the feild remember, it only takes one shot to get a kill, and its not the gun that makes the player, its the player that makes the gun -119 Edited by spartan119 - 09 February 2006 at 9:46pm |

JESUS CHRIST!! The man took the time to post pictures of his gun to get some positive feedback. Not everyone telling him that his gun is pointless. Maybe he likes the feel of the stock or maybe he just likes how it looks. Who cares!! I like the gun. It looks good with the camo. Do you play in on a team or just for fun. I'm practicing with my team for SPPL. Looks like we have a pretty chance of winning. |

Thanks man, the way I look at it is that for someone to do up their own gun, and post pictures of it, the gun must mean something to them, and thats what counts, I think you need to be open though to "constructive critisusm" or suggestions. I have gotten allot of excellent help from members on this forum, so it's not all bad. I do not play on a team yet, I guess just for fun as they say, but the number of players that I play with has grown considerably, soon I will be setting up a website with pics and video of us playing, kind of a player site for us but open for others too. Good luck with the team play, hope it goes well |

if you play mainly stealth stay away from any kind of electric hopper the racket after each shot will give your position away. don't sweat anyone jacking your gun, while they are entitled to their opinion, you are entitled to build your gun however you see fit and if you like it and it works for you stick with it. ps i think the duct tape camo job looks tacky.....sorry, it had to be said. |

Thanks for the advice on the qloader, I guess maybe it may
look more cool then it is practical, I will take it into consideration and as
for anyone who has personal experience with one, either owned or played with
someone that has one, I would like your input as to whether you agree that it
is loud!! |

It's your marker.
It suits your taste and style of play. Welcome to the forum. Do what you think is right for you. It's your money, and you play with the marker. So what other people think of it is not important. What is important is that you enjoy playing with it and it is effective in what you want it to be able to do. If you are satisfied. That is enough. I know people that still play with 68 Specials, Pro-lites, and SL68s and are just as effective in the style of paintball that they play as the guys with Angel G7s. So...nice job. And I commend you on your attitude and mature response to what some would consider flaming.

Thanks, although I have not paintballed for years it has quickly become quite a passion for me and it is good to see that someone who has so many posts and obviously played for so many years thinks that I am at least heading in the right direction in my outlook on things I was pretty discouraged on the forum when I first started with all the insults of my gun, but I got past it all and am glad now that I joinedEdited by Baewolf - 11 February 2006 at 1:53am |

Nice job, not my style, but the camo looks nice. It's all about what fits and feels best to you. If you like it, it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks.

How about we kill the kid for making his marker HIS... It is not really my style, but if that is what floats your boat, more power to you! |
