Everyone in allowed their opinion... even if it's wrong.
Just no drooling on it when It's ripping 17bps through the flatline next to you at Tippmann Challenge. |

I am so sad to see an A5 like that... why not just spend the money on a
proper speedball marker?? Even if you play woodsball why would you need to shoot that fast? Someone hiding in a bush will pick you off anyway with all that noise... But I'm happy that you're happy and spent a lot of money too! |

Just curious... I am new to this forum, do you actually win anything in these contests??? Or is it for bragging rights???

Some people like to spend money on their guns to squeeze out as much performance as they can. I don't see anything wrong with that. Going out and buying a speedball marker would be too easy, it's what everyone does.
We used to win Dye Sticky grips but now there are no prizes. |

Well I mean, you don't buy a Tippmann for speedball performance. If you
wanted to put money into a marker there are plenty of other choices that could have been made. I'm not saying he did a bad job, I'm sure that thing would rip. The thing is, you don't normally get a Tippmann for speedball. Why do you think they made the A5 to resemble the MP5K? But honestly... this is a topic for another forum... lets discuss. |

I have other markers too.
And as for as shooting fast in woodsball, I'm going to guess you have never been in a 200 vs 200 charge across a valley... lots of paint = gggooooood It never hurts to be able to shoot faster then the person shooting at you, doesn't mean you always have to fire as fast as you can. And after burning that charge and managing to stay in, then hiking for the next hour and want to have paint left... that's what it's set up for. I also have a harness to hold 10 pods and a 88/4500 tank to fire it all through. It's also internally modded to be more air efficient That isn't my speedball gun... usually. Though it does work great to scare people in speedball... shooting that fast with a loud flatline. If you go to the Gun of the month, and not Tippmann of the month, there is my autococker in it's current form. Depending on my mood, I have a 98c with a flatline, I have an original 98 basically stock (scary I know) and a custom wired (by me) shoebox shocker. I mod my guns because I can and I enjoy it!
