the digi camo works soooo much better than the stupid blobs and patterns. very hard to see them from 15 feet away with digis and with the originals can see them easily

Which digi camo? The Marpat (Marine'S), or the Army's newest ACU? Or the CadPat (Canadian) that both were based on? Very similar pattern, but the color schemes are different. The jarheads have a separate woodland and desert, the Army went with a universal pattern so as to avoid having to have two sets of uniforms, packs, and load bearing gear in different patterns (though it doesn't seem to blend in as well as a specific pattern) The Canadian Forces have separates as well. Oh, are any of you bashing one service or the other actually in ANY branch of service? Just wondering why you think you can say x is better than y when all you know is from watching "Over There," "Full Metal Jacket," and "Platoon." Edited by Unicorn |

actually the army took 2 beaches at normandy and had the original air force + they have the cobra attack helicopter and UAV's the marines are more like wannabe army guys cause the army has been around since 1776 marines were 1785 i think just navy guys wanting to be in the army

The United States Marine Corp became a branch in 1776 and so did the US Army, due to the fact thats when the United States became the United States. Before 1776 they were still British colonies. Also the Army has The Apache attack helicopter, not the cobra, the Marines use the Cobras. Also why does it matter if the Army took 2 beaches at Normandy? The Marines had equally tough battles. Ever here of Iwo Jima, tarawa, or wake island? (just to name a few). Read a history book. This is a stupid argument anyways. Both branches are good. Marine stands for: My a** really is navy equipment. Just joking. Both branches are cool. I suport friendly rivalry between the two, but I hate it when they bash each other. Edited by GThomas |
