Im fairly certain its because if he was to be tagged there he would rather take the chance of a ball busting on his hand vs. his mask. |

^exactly, the chance of a ball breaking on the mask is pretty high, but with the hand there it reduces those chances.

yah he really doesnt care about looks, the thing rips, and its light with all the milling done to it. And he has used that thing in woodsball and ripped some kids apart.
