It has actually been so long since I posted anything on this forum, I had to re-modify my user name. In any case, my friend doesn't know I am posting a pic of his A-5 (he doesn't even know I took a pic of it yet)... Obviously, the barrel is his first major upgarde, but when speaking of Tippmanns (such as the A-5), the performance is great no matter what. Oh yeah... once again... my Phantom (it's been a while since I was here - so why not post it again). But more importantly, show my buddy some support for his A-5, "exceletante."

Very nice looking A-5, he should look into a stock though, it would look more complete. Nice Phantom too! |

They're both pretty awesome. I'd suggest a remote line on the A-5 though.

I appreciate the feedback. I think at this point, he is happy with his A-5 setup, he is used to using the tank as a stock itself... however, that may change in the future - I appreciate all feedback/the feedback. As for my bottle setup for my Phantom - let's just say I enjoy having the choice to go back bottle, Hawaiin style (or to use both just to be weird).

True... Of course, that's what happens when you usualy use it on a speedball field... it's all good. Speaking of which, that's where I'm off to in about an hour.

While on the field earlier this morning with my friend, he certainly had no complaints... (With good/fresh paint), he had never got a barrel break (knock on wood), and that was with the stock barrel. He is certainly happy with the BT-16 barrel for his A-5. He told me that there is a more noticable, positive difference when comparing range from the stock barrel. As for the accuracy, it seems to hover around the same than with the stock (with good/fresh paint), but the range definitely increased - a wise choice if you would ask my friend. |
