Very nice. I like the shroud, but I don't know yet about that front grip. I'm just not feeling it.

Pro Team barrel is nice. Compared to flatline there is noticable accuracy improvement. I don't have any other barrels to campare it to. Next time I paly I'll borrow a friend's barrel to run an accuracy test, I think he has a big shot or something like that. Pro Team barrel is a little loud though, as is the flatline.
I am feeling the front grip now. LOL |

Not ripping the flatline. I like mine, I was just commenting on the accuracy compared to the Pro Team. And everyone knows an A5 with a flatline is very loud.
E Grip is for Outlaw games we play. House to house combat in a place called concrete city in Nanticoke, PA. It is an abandond living quaters for coal miners made up of about 20 two story concrete buildings. |

If by JCS trigger you mean a double... negetive. I cannot stand double triggers. But thats me. Anyhow, whenever you can tell me how the barrel stacks up against the others. Even against the stock barrel. I am trying to choose between this and a flatline. I dunno if I care more about flat trajectory + range or accuracy. If this thing doesn't have much accuracy compared to other barrels I might go with the flatline. |

I always throw the stock barrel of any tippmann in the garbage as soon as I open the box.
If you are going to have one barrel for the A5 make it a flatline. The accuracy lost to a straght barrel is inconsequential compared to the extreme gain in range. The Flatline shoots a much "flatter ball" making the midrange to long shot easy, no longer needing to compensate for drop. The flatline will tear up balls of inferior quality. It will also tear up good balls in cold weather. For these reasons only do I own a straight barrel. Edited by dredned |

Well, is Zap brand considered one of those inferior brands? If so I probably should go for a straight barrel. Plus I want a year-round barrel.

Ya, my favorite field uses crappy Zap paint. It never broke while I was there, so I guess with straight barrels it's fine. Looks like I'm not getting a flatty because that field is the main reason I'd even get one.
